Our love affair with all things Korean is not about to go away any time soon! Here are six ways to get the K-POP look – it’s all about bright pops of colour this year!
Go for a splash of blue on the lashes and a tangy punch of neon orange on the lips!
Pair a matte purple lip with a smudged out liner under the eyes for some rocker chick vibes.
Who says you have to draw lines that are perfectly connected all the time? Drawing disconnected lines creates the illusion of space for wider and longer looking eyes.
RAYS OF SUNSHINE
Sport the sun on your eyes with dashes of cheerful yellow across your eyelids. Keep the rest of your makeup clean and dewy so that it won’t draw attention away from the eyes.
Create a negative space effect by drawing a graphic cat eye with liquid eyeliner and leaving your lids bare. For a little something extra, add a dab of glitter to the negative space for that touch of sparkle.
“Hangover makeup” isn’t new, but it’s still a trend that’s in practice in Korea and Japan. This is a more dramatic version of the look, but you can tone it down by simply applying a soft wash of pink or red blush right below the eyes. Instead of lining your entire lash line, just draw a triangle on the outer corners for some definition.
