How far would you go to stay looking young and beautiful?
It’s perfectly fine to get a little work done if it makes you feel more confident of how you look. But if it becomes an addiction, one procedure will never be enough. There will always be something that we’re not happy or insecure with, but our differences are what make us unique and beautiful.
We’ve seen quite a number of celebrities who have gone through multiple surgeries to look a certain way, but end up looking almost unrecognizable. Of course, it’s their own personal choice and they have every right to do what makes them happy – but the world can be a critical and cruel place, with people constantly shaming and passing judgement unto others. It’s definitely not easy being in the public eye where you’re always expected to look flawless at all times.
1. LINDSAY LOHAN
Most of us remember Lindsay as the fresh-faced redhead in Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. Looking at her pictures now, she certainly does look a little different. Undergoing too many procedures at a young age and poor skincare habits can adversely impact the luminosity and elasticity of the skin as we age.
2. COURTENEY COX
In her younger days, Courteney turned heads with her brilliant piercing blue-eyed gaze and gorgeous, svelte figure and jet black hair. After going through several cosmetic procedures, her skin now looks almost too perfect at age 51 and the structure of her face seems altered. But we can’t deny that Courteney has kept herself in great shape as she’s still looking as svelte as ever.
3. MEG RYAN
Who can forget lovely Meg in When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle? She was a true Hollywood darling. In recent years, Meg’s obsession with cosmetic surgery went a little too far and it has taken quite a toll on her face.
If plastic surgery improves the quality of your life, no one should tell you what you should or should not do. But if it becomes an obsession, there’ll always be something to fix, and one procedure is never good enough. It’s important to make the effort to look and feel beautiful for ourselves, but where do we draw the line?
