The 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards returned for its 70th year to celebrate some of the greatest achievements in television. Aside from celebrating who bagged what award, heartfelt speeches, and favourite fashion looks to name a few. We couldn’t help but turn our eyes to Jenifer Lewis and her head-to-toe Nike outfit at the Emmys.

Jenifer Lewis donned the brand in support of Nike after the sports brand faced an uproar over quarterback Colin Kaepernick polarized image with the tagline being ” Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything. The ad is in celebration of Nike’s 30th Anniversary “Just Do It” campaign.

Nike has handled other controversial campaigns and will definitely see this through, after all Erinn Murphy, Piper Jaffray senior research analyst believes that the publicity is good publicity. The campaign was to speak up about racial injustice.
We think that Jenifer Lewis looked good in her athleisure outfit at the Emmys, the likes of a Nike sweatshirt with a bedazzled swoosh on it, leggings ,and black and white shoes.
This was what Jenifer Lewis had to say about her head-to-toe outfit-
“I’ll wear Nike to say thank you, thank you for leading the resistance. We need more of corporate America to stand up also”.
