Fendi opens up its first Sydney boutique in the heart of the Westfield CBD precinct, further enhancing its presence in Australia. Silvia Venturini Fendi, Creative Director for Accessories, Menswear and kidswear, and Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO flew down to attend this fabulous celebration, along with an entourage of A-list guests such as Leila George, Kit Butler, Margaret Zhang, Zac and Jordan Stenmark, Maddison Brown, Collette Dinnigan, Ksenija Lukich, Megan Hess and Hayden Cox. But they were not the only A-listers in town– Fendi also welcomed the arrival of two (super furry) star guests, the FENDIRumi!
The two adorable furry characters created by Fendi pay homage to the Japanese phenomenon of kigurumi mascots. Inspired by the Qutweet bag charm, the sweet, girly-pink Piro-chan has large yellow eyes, a blue crest and features the Italian brand’s logo. Bug-kun is boyish blue, with an attitude, and is inspired by the much-loved Bag Bugs charm with its yellow crest and double FF logo.
Inspired by its Roman roots and designed to reflect the highest level of the brand’s sophistication, the all-new Fendi store boasts a refined and grandiose atmosphere which pervades the boutique, whilst an obsession for design details, true to the spirit of the House, reflects Fendi’s standards of in store design whilst creating a space that perfectly balances tradition with innovation, representing the brand’s harmonious dialogue between Roman heritage and the modernity of avant-garde design and art.
