Gucci’s pre–fall 2017 collection is as colorful and carefree as you’d expect from the brand, narrating a singular tale with no beginning and no end. In his latest vision, Alessandro Michele calls upon Ouroboros, the mythological serpent or dragon eating its own tail, alongside a whole line of animals like rabbits, tigers, cats, dragons, and snakes. He had also incorporated characters we know and love, such as Snoopy and Donald Duck as a part of his vision. “You create every time a new story — repetition doesn’t mean it’s not new, repetition means there is something refined and different, upside down. It’s like love.” he states. Here are the full line up of the richly decorated and lively, cheerful collection.
