HOW IT BEGAN
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear was conceptualised in 2013 by Andrew Tan who took the challenge to launch the very first KLFW. Tan believed that establishing Kuala Lumpur’s own fashion week signified our fashion visibility on the global map. Though it started off as a business-to-consumer platform, KLFW has become more than that. KLFW continues to provide a platform for brand exposure for young designers and has received astounding support from sponsors, designers and fashion aficionado from day one till date.
