Zara Larsson’s fans rejoice as H&M reveals its fashion collaboration with the platinum-selling recording artist. Inspired by the Swedish pop sensation’s style, the capsule collection offers strong graphics and edgy street wear pieces which will be available at H&M Lot 10, Avenue K and Sunway Pyramid, starting from 18 May.
The message of fierce and feminine women in her playful yet empowering songs along with the pop star’s personal style are reflected in the Zara Larsson X H&M capsule collection. This can seen in pieces such as an oversized hoodie and t-shirt dress emblazoned with hot pink graphics and strong feminist messages, both are balanced by more body-con shorts and tops.
Colour wise, you get a range of pinks with silver and black as complements while the main materials used are velour, denim, mesh fabrics and cotton jersey.
“I am really excited to finally share my collection with H&M. I have had so much fun working with them to design pieces and create a campaign that reflects my personality. I can’t wait to see how girls everywhere wear the pieces to add to their own personal style,” says Zara Larsson.
Zara was involved throughout the design process, having a say in everything from the prints and colours to cut and fit. For instance, pink was chosen in most of her designs because according to Zara, “it’s feminine, powerful and everyone looks good in it” besides it being one of her favourite colours.
With the release of her first full-length album ‘So Good’ and exclusive H&M fashion collaboration to add to her growing list of achievements, 2017 is turning out to be a big year for the singer-songwriter.
The limited Zara Larsson X H&M capsule collection consisting of clothes and accessories will be available at H&M Lot 10, Avenue K and Sunway Pyramid from 18 May.
