Moschino and Barbie announces their partnership on the highly anticipated collector Moschino Barbie doll, accompanying exclusive eight-piece ready to wear Moschino collection, both available on MOSCHINO.COM and NET-A-PORTER.COM from November 9, 2015.
As one of Moschino’s favourite muses, Barbie was dressed in Moschino’s hero pieces; a slogan t-shirt, logo trimmed mesh knitwear and a quilted leather bomber jacket with a matching pencil skirt. She is adorned with classic Moschino accessories, including a branded leather cap, mini quilted cross body bag and shopping bag. Her look is finished off with mismatched earrings, layered necklaces, sunglasses, a leather motorcycle bag, a backpack and the unmistakable gold chain belt with Moschino lettering.
Jeremy Scott, Creative Director at Moschino says, “I wanted to bring all of the Moschino elements to Barbie, as I had done the reverse by bringing all of the Barbie elements to Moschino for the SS15 collection. The thing I love most about Barbie, is that she is the ultimate muse, she’s worn every style and design imaginable and at the same time she’s had every possible profession you can dream of. With Moschino having had such a long and successful relationship with NET-A-PORTER, it simply wasn’t a question of who to partner with for this.”
