One of the most popular artists in Tokyo makes his debut at KL this weekend. His solo exhibition, A Line will be on display at Free Art Space located at The Japan Store. Fans of his work will get a chance to meet Nagaba at Isetan The Japan Store, including a live illustration demo (Saturday) and a portrait illustration workshop (Sunday). Scroll to the end of this post for details!
Yu Nagaba’s work has gained support from art directors and designers, frequently appointed for magazine covers and advertisement.
The artist has cultivated a simplistic style – plain black lines to create a quirky cartoon style. One can envision his doodles in a short film!
The exhibition will run from 10 March to 5th April, but for an up close experience with the man himself, make plans to head down to The Japan Store this weekend.
