As you well know, our 21st anniversary party is just around the corner and the team has been hustling to find ourselves the perfect red outfit. Here are 5 of our favourite easy, no-fail party looks that you can pair with your 21st anniversary look that will go with alomost anything!
Nude Smokey Eye
Here’s a modern take on the classic smokey eye—nude and brown hues are the new black and we really can’t get enough of this more subtle eyeshadow tone. Different shades of nude achieve different levels of intensity, so make sure you choose a shade that’s suitable for your overall look that night!
Another classic go-to look, the red lip can now we interpreted into an extremely chic, but versatile party look. From blue-reds, to orange-reds, to a gradient lip, matte or glossy finishes, solid harsh lines or a soft feathery lip, there’s not wrong way to wear the red lip anymore. Don’t forget the golden rule of pairing your bold lip with a more natural, neutral eyeshadow colour.
Something we don’t see enough of off the runway. The glossy lid has been making waves through the fashion runway over the last 3 years and we think it’s edgy enough to want to try, but easy enough to pull off. Dab some vaseline or clear lipgloss over the centre of your eyelids and swipe on some volumising mascara, or wear it over a smudged kohl liner for a more grungy effect. Trés chic and right on trend!
Pop of Colour
As we’ve seen on the Dior runway, a pop of colour on the eyes never hurt anyone. In fact, the solid block of colour over the eye brings more to a plain outfit, and will give your look just the oomph it needs. Go all out and try on the brightest shades you can think of. Our personal favourites are pinks and satiny purples. Make sure all the lines on your face are clean and sharp so you don’t look sloppy and too OTT.
Barely There Make-Up
Feel like you need to tone the face down because you don’t to take away from your amazing outfit and want to look like a breath of fresh air? Try out this barely-there make-up trend. Keep your brows looking full, combed upward, with dewy skin, soft pink cheeks and a taupe colour lighted brushed around your eyes for some colour. Swipe on your favourite natural pink-toned lipstick to finish off and you’ll be the fairy belle of the ball.
