LEE SWEE LIN, KIM LIM, SUZANNE LING
CO-FOUNDERS OF PICHAEATS
Looking to indulge in great food while helping others rebuild their lives? PichaEats was developed to do just that! Through PichaEats (previously known as The Picha Project), refugee families who were forced to flee to Malaysia can get a chance to provide for their families and rebuild their lives by cooking up delicacies from their homelands, and having them delivered to consumers. From Iraqi Falafel, Palestinian Hummus to Afghani Dumplings and Syrian sweets, every dish is made with authenticity and love.
PichaEats began when Suzanne convinced Swee Lin and Kim to help out at a refugee home with her. Their time helping at the home proved to be an eye opening experience, and the girls decided that they would think of a way to help the refugees find a way to earn a living for themselves. Currently PichaEats has expanded from just selling the food made by refugees to providing catering services as well as special festivity project planning.
