Marie Claire jumped at the opportunity to try out the latest range of Mercedes-Benz dream cars in Cherating. The trip started with a very comfortable chauffeur-driven drive down to Cherating in the new S-Class. The epitome of cars for the businesswomen, I settled just right into comfort and luxury.
The seats were super comfortable, you can adjust your chair to a more relaxing position, perfect for a short nap in between meetings. The car features a top of the range phone charger located at the middle- arm rest, your phone start charging once you place it on the wireless surface. Super impressive, and perfect for the busy person who needs to make sure their phones are constantly fully charged. The drive was smooth and relaxing.
The S-Class is the perfect choice for the business women, it offers comfort and style in one vehicle.
Arriving at the Cherating Kasturi resort just past noon, we explored the resort, while having lunch overlooking the beautiful ocean. It always feels good to be by the see. The sudden breeze and sunshine, lifts your mood and makes you feel right at home. I settled for a traditional Malay massage at the spa, to relax and unwind before heading for our afternoon test drive with the Mercedes-Benz Dream Cars.
Cherating Mercedes-Benz Media Test Drive
I love testing out new cars, and going for a Mercedes-Benz media test drive. It is the best way to experience all the cars. We were split into ten pairs, and we made pit stops every 15-20 minutes to switch cars. This made it possible for us to test drive every car in the Dream cars range.
The advantage of the two hours test drive is that you can actually experience the difference between each car. Within two hours you can already make the conclusion on which vehicle best suits your driving personality and style.
I test drove the the Mercedes-Benz AMG GTC, CLS 53, C300 Cabriolet, C43 CKD, E63 Sedan, CLS 450, C250 Coupe AMG and S560 Cabriolet.
The evening started with a short speech by Mark Raine, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Passenger Cars at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, the unveil of the Mercedes-Benz Maybach S560 and a BBQ dinner by the beach.
We say bye to The Kasturi Resort Cherating and drove back to KL with a car of our choice, I took a slow drive back to KL in the C300 Cabriolet which was a match in both style and luxury.
