Wella and ghd fashion week ambassador, Eugene Souleiman added glam to the Preen’s Autumn/Winter 2018 show with his aquatic aesthetic unique collection.
This year’s AW18 show witness Preen experimenting with personalised scuba-wear and floating floral that really seems to inspire the fashion world.
Eugene created a simple yet fresh hair look to complement the sophisticated textures of the fashion collection. Using sea anemones as his inspiration, Eugene wanted to keep his style effortless but out of this world at the same time.
“We want the girls to look as if they’re in water, with their hair looking otherworldly and floating with zero gravity”. – Eugene Souleiman.
The models look heavenly with natural looking hairstyles with a touch of glitter on their forehead, making you believe that yes, mermaids do exist. The glitter added a divine touch that complements the theme of the collection.
FYI, there was no brush or comb used in styling the models hair as Eugene wanted to create a scruffy and uncombed look with an easy-going texture.
Eugene wanted to create an illusion to let hair flow freely without too much of work that will make the styling look effortless yet stunning.
Eugene certainly got by with a little help from Wella with their EIMI Dry Me styling spray that created volume and a manageable texture to achieve the heavenly look meanwhile the EIMI Mistify Me Light provided a light hold and natural looking movement.
Ghd’s Gold Styler and Curve Classic curl tong completes Eugene mission to create a simple and majestic looks by styling strands of hair, not the whole head.
This collection is certainly a magnificent trendsetter!
