The Body Shop Malaysia has been distributing free plants across the country on Earth Day for three years now and this time they are back again with 2,200 saplings plants!
In conjunction of the Earth Day, The Body Shop Malaysia teamed up with Free Tree Society giving away 2,200 saplings at The Curve and Setia City Mall concurrently.
The Body Shop brand empathises on earth sustainability to ensure a better earth for the future generations through its initiative programs. They believe in the “Enrich Not Exploit ™” commitment, where they stress on the commitment of organisations to protect and nurture the environment in every aspect of their business including their ingredients, products, packaging, stores, employees, suppliers and campaigns.

Up to 16 species of sapling plants was given away by volunteers to all the visitors around the area to encourage a greener environment. The volunteers also explained the right ways to care for the plant that they chose to adopt. The Body Shop Malaysia also holds hand with Craftiviti for an upcycling workshop where customers got to satisfy their thirst with Pokka’s refreshingly new Kiyo Grape Juice.
The Body Shop insists that every human being is able to play their role in building a sustainable and greener environment by participating in environmental activities such as planting a tree, re-using and recycling products as well as enlightening the younger generation about the importance of sustaining a good environment.
