#3 Danum Valley rainforest, Semporna
This 130-million-year-old dipterocarp forest is situated at the heart of the East Sabah jungle, about 70 kilometres away from the nearest town. The tropical trees, exotic orchids, lingering lianas and overhanging epiphytes surrounding the area are perfect to give you the best luxe backdrop with all the natural sunlight you’ll need for an Instagram-worthy picture. You may also encouter several endangered wildlife like the Sumatran rhino, banteng, pygmy elephants, orang utan, proboscis monkeys, and clouded leopard.
