Burger & Lobster
The story of Burger & Lobster began when four friends from Moscow decided to start a restaurant business focusing on a few choice ingredients. They couldn’t decide if they should serve burger or lobster, so they decided to offer both. The first Burger & Lobster opened in 2011, in a small Irish pub in Mayfair. Now, Malaysians will get to sample Burger & Lobster’s famous 650-700g lobsters from Nova Scotia, Canada right here in Genting Highland’s new shopping paradise, Sky Avenue. The first local Burger & Lobster outlet opened for business in January this year and the restaurant has been packed since. Due to the volumes which the lobsters are imported, the crustaceans are surprisingly affordable at RM148-RM153 for a whole cooked lobster. When you visit, you must try the Chilli Lobster, a Burger & Lobster interpretation of the local Chilli Crab. “We had expected to be the ones teaching the locals the ropes when we opened in Malaysia, but we ended learning a thing or two,” said the restaurant manager. Burger & Lobster’s Chilli Lobster has been such a hit here, the management introduced the dish at its outlet in London where it has been popular too.
