Yep, you heard us, ZERO Calories. For those who didn’t know, there are foods that will burn more calories than you consume. Turns out the universe isn’t that unfair after all. Health buffs all over the world have been psyched about the rumour that celery was found to have no calories at all, and it is true.
But what if we tell you that celery is just one out of the twenty foods that contain no single calorie at all?
“Foods that contain few calories, such as celery and other non-starchy vegetables, provide a small number of calories but still require energy to digest,” Dr. Donald Hensrud from the Mayo Clinic stated. “That means it is theoretically possible to have a negative-calorie food.” Although he does add, however, that there are yet any reputable scientific studies that has proven this theory. “[But] even if non-starchy vegetables are not negative-calorie, they are still low-calorie, and a smart choice to include in a predominantly plant-based diet,” he says.
Then again, no one’s encouraging you to merely consume the foods listed down belowm but if you’re looking for more fruits and greens to put in your diet, this is it. Here are the list of foods that contain zero calories, as was mentioned in The Sun.
