Located on the prestigious 57th street, right next to The Director’s Guild Theater, luxury boutique hotel Viceroy Central Park plays perfectly with its surroundings: A modern, dark, clean-lined exterior envelops the space and blends beautifully with its classic, vintage-like interior, bringing boutique cool to Midtown. It’s classy ground-floor bistro and rooftop lounge attract tastemakers and trendsetters alike, making it an ideal hotel to spend your days and nights in New York City. After a recent visit to the hotel for NYFW, here are our lowdown on the Viceroy Central Park:
First Impression
With the hotel being located close to practically every place we wanted to visit, along with its cool, modern aesthetic of both the common area as well as the room, and super helpful staff members who assisted us tremendously with so much, our stay at the Viceroy Central Park was a memorable one. As we entered the dark doors, and stepped onto the Paonazzo marble flooring in the lobby, we were greeted with warm hospitality and didn’t have to wait long for our rooms.
Location
Excellent location for both business and leisure, Viceroy Central Park is set on a relatively quiet Midtown street, on the West 57th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. We were just steps away from the Director’s Guild Theater and the Carnegie Hall, and a short walk from Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, and the Fifth Avenue department stores. The subway is two minutes away from the hotel, while the hotel’s centralized location makes it easy to catch cabs and other forms of transportation.
Services & Facilities
Although the hotel had no spa or swimming pools due to space constraints, the hotel has a fully equipped gym and business centre, as well as a paramount rooftop lounge called the Roof, in addition to Kingside, a signature restaurant located off the lobby and fronting 57th Street that serves scrumptious New American cuisine.

The Junior Suite Room
I particularly liked the custom furnishings and the wood-paneled walls and the overall masculine aesthetic of the Junior Suite room, and found the vintage interior quite inviting. The floor to ceiling picture windows of the room overlooks the 57th Street, and is spacious, with a central seating area, a super comfy King sized bed, and a queen sized sofa.
