Tory Burch opened its third boutique in Kuala Lumpur at Suria KLCC with style.
Among the guests were members of the media, celebrities and socialites including Tong Bingyu, Fyza Kadir, Che Puan Amelia Henderson, Kavita Kaur, Juwei Teoh, Venice Min and Samantha Katie who cheered as Valiram Executive Director Ashvin Valiram, Valiram Director Monica Valiram and Tory Burch Asia President Michel Gonzalez jointly cut the ribbon, inaugurating the opening of the boutique.
Guests then toured the beautiful new space and shopped Tory Burch’s Spring Summer 2017 collection while savouring canapés, cocktails and music by Southeast Asia’s famed DJ, Eva T.
Called East Coast meets West Coast, the collection portrays the relaxed and effortless quintessential American style. Highlighting the season’s nautical style, models were seen dressed in runway looks featuring sailboat motifs and rope prints.
Guests were given the opportunity to purchase the Bermuda bag which is available in Malaysia exclusively at Tory Burch Suria KLCC, making the launch event a special one. Sporting green and navy stripes, the patent leather piece also pays homage to a classic Seventies design by featuring curved wood handles, gold rivets and a removable cross-body strap.
Tory Burch first debuted in Malaysia in 2014 with its first store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, followed by its second store at The Gardens Mall in 2016 and its third at Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Twin Towers.
This contributes to Tory Burch’s growing presence in Southeast Asia with boutiques in the Philippines, Singaopore, Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia.
