We can’t deny the fact that we eat with our eyes (and quite often, our camera). Here, we present five meticulously plated dishes from restaurants around KL for you to feast your eyes upon.
“This is wagyu sirloin from the Japanese grill, accompanied with smoked homemade creme fraiche, charred and pickled vegetables, hazelnut, and lemon butter. Wagyu is always a crowd pleaser in Studio; the plating is very natural, un-fussy yet beautiful. The ingredients are cooked in a rustic manner and we believe they should be shown the same way. We age the wagyu in-house to give it a little extra umami and all the vegetables used in the dish are local to South East Asia. The dish is finished with a little bit of herb oil and the pickled mushrooms.”
