The nasi lemak cake consist of ingredients typical to your everyday plate of nasi lemak. Cake is substituted with fragrant coconut rice layered with egg and topped with cucumber slices, sambal, peanuts and fried anchovies. There is plenty of sambal spread on the cake like how a typical cake would consist of cream or chocolate topping. For all the sambal lovers out there, good news, you can choose from sambal sotong, sambal petai or sambal udang.
If you’re looking for individual portions, go for the cupcake version. The cupcakes are priced at RM4.90 each with a minimum order of six pieces, the cake retails from RM58.
