Coley Cocktail Bar
Coley Cocktails bar is tucked away along the streets of Jalan Bangsar between two shops that you may miss it at first. This cozy bar that makes you feel right at home got its name from the iconic female head bartender named Ada Coleman. Fondly known as Coley, she had worked for the Savoy Hotel in London for many years and had invented the Hanky Panky which is now a popular drink at Coley’s.
The Hanky Panky is a twist on the sweet martini with Ada adding a secret ingredient Fernet Brenca an Italian bitter digestivo.
When we visited Coley, bar manager Loco prepared two cocktails for me and one mocktail for my colleague Lira.
Those two cocktails and one mocktail had put a smile on our faces that afternoon. On the left is the classic Hanky Panky, in the middle is a cocktail specially prepared with sea salt foam which uses a fish tank motor to create that foamy bubbles you see on top whilst the one on the right is a bubble tea mocktail.
Not only are their drinks delicious with various twists added to it, their known for their snacks as well! So snack away when you pay a visit to Coley.
If you want something other than a drink, try out their alcohol soft serve dubbed the Tipsy Scoop.
Do follow their Instagram page to stay updated on their latest offerings.
