Thoughts on female empowerment and feminism
Z: It is allowing women to be whatever and whoever we want to be. It’s not about being superior to men. It’s having the OPTION to do what we want. If you want to be a full time mother, be it. If you want to be an entrepreneur, be it. Don’t let anyone define who or what you should be.
T: I feel feminism is often misunderstood for female superiority when in actual fact, it’s quite the opposite – it’s a fight for equality. What that means to me is if one day my daughter dreams to be a soccer player, or even a police officer then that’s completely fine! She shouldn’t be judged incapable to do so. We, as women, should empower one another and embrace this mind-set. We’re stronger together!
Words of wisdom
Z: Always go for it and always ask for what you want. Believe in yourself, and you are halfway there.
T: I believe in positive thinking and the law of attraction. If you believe and focus on only positive thoughts, it’ll eventually become a reality.
