Formerly known as the French Art & Film Festival, Le French Festival (LFF) will be back for the 16th edition this year! Expect live performances such as pianist Maxime Zecchini taking the keys with MPO, a dance performance by Cie Uzumaki, and performance arts by Cie Non Nova. If you’re not one for the performances, catch a film (Gaumont: 120 Years of Cinema) or peruse Jacques Ferrier’s architecture at Whitebox Publika. Read on for our comprehensive guide to LFF this year.
26 May: Valentine Nagata-Ramos performs a choreographic quest in Sadako by Cie Uzumaki Dance Company.
10 June: L’après-midi d’un Foehn includes a whimsical choreography of puppets with puppeteers. This performance includes a variety of household items – when put together are deemed unusual for a play: plastic bags, a coat, a pair of scissors, a roll of sticky tape, and an umbrella.
