During those dates, the showcase featured Malaysia’s largest antique jewellery collection. That was not all, as Habib decided to take its guest down memory lane with a little history about Habib’s Jewels humble beginning.
Here are some pictures to feast your eyes on before we proceed.
The Heritage Journey dates back to 1958 where founder Datuk Haji Habib Mohamed Latif opened up a small jewellery shop along Penang’s ‘Jewellers Corner’ on Pitt Street. The store today still stands as a double-storey shop featuring Jawi Peranakan interior and architectural designs. The second floor has been transformed into Habib’s Heritage Gallery that consist of over 1,000 pieces of exquisite jewellery.
Guests were in for a treat as there was a fashion show with models donning various pieces according to the respective eras. The highlight of the event was having special celebrity guest Zahirah MacWilson grace the catwalk with Habib’s beautiful pieces. Their latest collection was seen too, that included designs from Hearts On Fire®, Pandora, Ice-Watch, Les Georgettes by Altesse, and Stephen Webster.
Their second showcase will be at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya from the 23rd November to 2nd December 2018. Starting from 10 am to 10 pm.
For the second showcase, those who join in on the Habib’s Pose and Post contest will stand a chance to win a Gold Bar. It is rather simple, all you need to do is to take a creative picture at Habib’s Heritage photo wall and post it up on social media with the following hashtag #habibexhibition.
