#6 Use an extractor tool
Now that you’ve cleaned your skin and steamed open those pores, use an extractor tool to remove those stubborn blackheads. But first, remember to sterilise it with alcohol for hygiene purposes to prevent possible flare ups. If you’re sterilising tthe extractor tool ahead of time, keep it in an air-tight container to prevent it from being infected before you start using it. You’ll also need to use the extractor tool carefully so your skin doesn’t get irritated. Here’s how to do it:
- Place the loop facedown with a little bit of pressure on the edge of the particular blackhead that you are trying to remove.
- Then gently sweep the tool to the other side of your pore. You may repeat this several times until the plug is officially removed.
- Sterilise the tool in between the process for peace of mind.
