In times of our current health crisis, the lack of medical protective resources can’t help but slow down the progress in battling COVID-19. The Armani Group recognizes the problem and has offered a helping hand in solving the dilemma by manufacturing single-use medical overalls.
To protect the healthcare workers that are putting their lives on the line, each and every one of Armani’s Italian production plants has switched to focusing on producing these one-time use overalls.
Besides helping reduce the issue of scarcity for medical front liners, Giorgio Armani has donated a total of €2 million to the National Civil Protection Department and the Luigi Sacco, San Raffaele, Instituto dei Tumori hospitals in Milan and Istituto Spallanzani in Rome. The contribution also covered hospitals in Bergamo, Piacenza, and Versilia around the Tuscany area.
