Prada S.p.A is not only a driving force in the luxurious fashion industry but also in philanthropy. On March 16th, the fashion house’s Co-CEOs and Chairmans donated two complete intensive care and resuscitation units each to the hospitals of Vittore Buzzi, Sacco and San Raffaele located in Milan.
Following their recent act of kindness, the brand continues to show their support in light of the COVID-19 emergency by promising to produce 80, 000 medical overalls and 110,000 masks that will be sent to the healthcare personnel, as per request from the Tuscany Region. The production started on the 18th of March and will continue until the 6th of April, the daily deliveries for these products will be provided by Prada themselves.
All the masks and overalls are being manufactured internally at the Prada Factory in Montone (Perugia), it remains open during this period to show their gratitude and solidarity to all healthcare professionals out there that are working hard to beat this pandemic.
