Take the Shot!
Look at the time: it’s contraceptive equality o’clock! Although a male birth control pill already exists, it will probably take about a decade before the drug hits the market. The Indian Council of Medical Research brings great news! They have successfully completed a clinical trial on an injectable male contraceptive, and it only needs to go through regulatory approvals. 303 candidates were recruited with a 97.3% success rate with no reported side effects. This birth control method is said to last approximately 13 years. The only caveat, though, is that the polymer is to be injected into the vas deferens, a muscular tube that transports mature sperm into the urethra.
