We’ve seen how the luxury groups of the fashion world have shown their support against the infectious disease of COVID-19, now it’s time to dive deeper on how individual high-fashion brands are combating the major health crisis:
While it is a shame to see the closing of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, it is a necessary step taken under the French government’s directive for the time being. However, they are coming in clutch with their programme, Fondation Louis Vuitton From Your Home, to provide those of us stuck in quarantine with contents of art and culture.
The purpose of #FLVfromhome is to continue sharing their work and passion for the arts to the community while encouraging the act of staying at home. The programme will allow us to discover and experience their exhibitions, concerts, masterclasses and events they’ve offered since it’s opening in 2014. For each week, the Fondation from home will be presenting 3 exciting digital art events which include commentary on their exhibitions, concerts, documentaries, and so on.
Enjoy and rewatch all their events as many times as you’d like as it will be available online on their Facebook page and Youtube channel. On their Instagram page, they will be sharing new never seen before content such as quizzes on their art collections with the hashtag #FLVfromhome. Their creativity has made this stay-at-home period much more bearable and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the weeks to come.
