7. Texting Isn’t The Only Form Of Communication
It is the 21st century where video calls are a thing. Don’t let texting be your only way of communicating with your partner. There needs to be more than a few texts saying, “I miss you,” or “I love you,” if you want to keep that relationship going. Seeing your partner through the screen isn’t the same as being physically there, but it is definitely better than texting. Being able to talk and listen to your partner speak is also important – so many emotions expressed. Video call your partner at least once a week and have dinner together or show him the project you’re working on, or even virtually watch a movie together. Whatever makes you both smile.
