Growing up in the 90s, you would probably have heard of the popular coming-of-age series named after a zip code. It quickly became the most well-known zip code in America as the series shot all their cast members to fame. One of the superstars that graduated from the show was Luke Perry. As a millennial you would know Luke Perry better as the Archie Andrew’s dad in the Netflix series Riverdale.
On the 4th of March, the Riverdale set was sent into a state of shock with news of Perry’s passing. According to an inside source, productions were actually halted for the day so the production crew could pay their respects.
“We are deeply saddened to learn today about the passing of Luke Perry. A beloved member of the Riverdale, Warner Bros. and CW family, Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all. A father figure and mentor to the show’s young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness. Our thoughts are with Luke’s family during this most difficult time.”
While Perry’s fellow cast mates show their respect for him, we look back at his most memorable moments.
