4. Hair Texturiser
Ever heard of the term, “beach hair?” If you’re envisioning Marie Claire Malaysia’s April 2018 cover girl Alexandra Daddario of Baywatch fame with her textured waves flowing behind her as she conquers the waves, you’re right on the money! Beach hair is casual yet sexy and full of body and texture because of the droplets of sea salt that add volume to hair. If you’re nowhere near the beach, don’t fret. Try on this DIY hair texturising spray instead. Here’s the recipe: 1 cup warm water, 1-2 tsp salt, 1 tsp coconut or argan oil (or 1/2 tsp of each used together), 1/2 tsp leave-in conditioner, a few drops of hair gel. If you’re too busy, try Lush’s Big Shampoo for (you guessed it!) big and voluminous hair! Almost half the shampoo consists of sea salt, so expect to see a BIG difference. After use, hair definitely feels like there’s more air in it, but it’s also rougher and harder to comb, which is what gives your hair texture and volume. Well, you can’t have everything!
