Independent ladies like us, we handle everything ourselves. We change the light bulb ourselves when it starts flickering. We fix a tap when it starts licking ourselves. So when it comes to our cars, we’re pretty sure you, like us, would take it upon yourselves to make sure it is properly well taken care of.
But of course, our day to day usage of our vehicles do not compare to when we’re travelling long distance. With Raya coming up, you’re probably one of the many people getting ready for the great migration that happens every festive season. If you’re not one who is joining the high flyers, we’re pretty sure you’re getting ready for the drive back home. But you might be ready to travel, is your car ready for that trip?
Before you head on the trip, be sure to follow this guide to ensure a smooth sailing journey all the way home!
Be sure to change your engine oil
Your car engine is made up of many moving metal parts. These metal parts work together to combust and propel your car forward. If any of these components stop working then you will experience a massive blow out from the engine and it will take loads of money and time to repair the engine. So it is very important to keep the engine oil that lubricates the metal components in tip top condition. Bring your car to your nearest service centre to have them change the engine oil before heading on your long drive!
