Here’s how to use it
Thanks to a clever Google Chrome extension named Netflix Party, there’s no need to miss out on binge-watching sessions with friends while self-isolating during the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
Once downloaded and installed to your Google Chrome internet browser, Netflix Party allows you to either create or join a friend’s existing Netflix party where you can then synchronize your video playback so that you can watch the latest ep of Riverdale at the same time as all your mates. There’s also a group function so that you can chat while you watch.
So, how do you get a Netflix Party started?
Step #3: Create a Netflix party by clicking the red ‘NP’ icon on your Chrome browser
Step #4: Send the URL you’re provided with around to your friends who’d like to partake in the viewing partyOr, if you’d like to join an existing Netflix Party that’s already been created, simply get your buddy to send you their URL.
Grab your popcorn and settle in, we’ve got shows to binge! The only question that remains is: Who gets to choose what’s watched first?
