1. For the Mum Who Loves A Challenge
Go for a hike. Brave the 4am alarm and haul yourself out of bed bright and early on a Saturday morning!
Where to hike: Sungai Chilling Waterfalls, Broga Hill, FRIM, Puchong Hill
2. For the Mum Who Loves To Learn
A class will not go wrong. We’re talking brush lettering, flower arranging, baking, cooking classes for a hands-on interactive approach.
Where to learn: The Cooking House, Stickerrific, your local dance and workout class
3. For the Mum Who Loves an Adrenaline Rush
Take her to a theme park. We’re still waiting for FOX’s TBA theme park at Genting Highlands, but meanwhile try Berjaya Times Square, Sunway Lagoon, or take a trip down south to Singapore’s Universal Studios.
4. For the Mum Who Needs Pamper Time
This one is easy – opt for a full-day spa treatment, followed by a peaceful and quiet high tea session. Recreate the experience at home if you’re on a budget.
5. For the Mum Who Misses the Faraway Sibling
A bit of prep time might be needed for this. If you (or your siblings) are overseas, outstation, or can’t make it back in time to spend some time with mum, technology trumps everything. It can be simple – compile a video message or fill a scrapbook of pictures abroad.
