#2 Ain Ramli
Ain recognises that working out during the quarantine period is not ideal, even calling it boring, but she comes through with her advice on how to stay fit mentally and physically. First off she suggests making a list, that way it’s easy to keep track of your daily goals. Planning a workout ahead of time by writing it down and slotting it in the appropriate time of the day allows you to have full control over how you want to take care of your body. To keep the momentum of her motivation, Ain uses her Apple Watch to keep track of her workouts and progress. That way she knows when’s slacked off or sat too long doing nothing.
Another way she keeps herself motivated is by shaking things up when things get boring. Ain occasionally joins LIVE online workouts that are offered, in which she knows aren’t too strenuous for her. In a time where social distancing is required and everyone is stuck at home, it’s hard to feel motivated when you’re the only one working out. With the Activity Sharing function provided on the Apple Watch, you can get a loved one to give you the motivation to power through or even better, you can challenge them to a competition that allows both parties to exercise together regardless of location.
To anyone that is a total newbie at working, the health enthusiast suggests starting small like by cleaning your room or organising your wardrobe. Not only will this help you lose calories but the decluttering will also provide you with a better headspace. Her other advice is “you are what you eat”, the importance of nutrition can’t be repeated enough. Eating healthy is a way you can treat your body right while also improving your cooking skills, plus washing dishes is a great way to burn calories.
To keep an eye out on what she’s consuming, Ain keys in her food intake to her Apple Watch to ensure she stays within her goals and avoids unnecessary snacking. Her go-to apps for this are Lifesum and MyFitnessPal, it’s easy to track and right on your wrist. It’s no secret that hydration is key, Ain makes sure she gets all her H20 needs by managing her water intake with the app WaterMinder on her Apple Watch.
Ain’s way too de-stress from everything going on today is to immerse herself in her interests. She enjoys the quarantine period as it allows her to reconnect with all the hobbies she’s forgotten due to her hectic life. Furthermore, picking new things and learning has become so much easier today. Her favourite pastime these days is to just relax in her own space while listening to a podcast on her Apple Watch for as long as she’d like.

. . First of all, thank you so much for those who join in my live workout session yesterday, it was my first time ever & i had tremendous fun doing it with you guys. I know the time might be inconvenient to some of you who are working, so YES there will be a next LIVE on PETANG session! So stay tune on the notification?? . Why Plyometrics? As you know i really misses my heavy ass weight training routine, so with limited equipment that I own right now, we gotta do what we have which is OUR BODY. The main target of these routine is to work on our fast twitch muscles which commonly used when we lift heavy weights or sprint. These fast movements also will help target and train our fast twitch muscles for explosiveness which considered as gym equivalent of short distance sprint work (maintenance work for me to avoid muscle lost) since its only 30 secs per exercise, LEGS GET IT GUYS! (Perform 3-4 rounds of these circuit and your legs will thank & curse me) ?? . If you have difficulty to do it due to knee injuries/issues, please regress it (no jump). Have fun trying and stay healthy guys. Mobility routine coming up soon! ❤️. P/S: My legs are super sore now ? . #plyometrics #homeworkout #shotoniphone11promax #pumaMY #staypositive #greatvibes #stayhome #stayhealthy #vibe #cookieekawaii
