Eating More Fruits and Vegetables
We’ve been told time and time again by our parents to eat more fruits and vegetables. A study in 2014 found that individuals who incorporate more greens in their diet had high levels of wellbeing. Fruits and vegetables are high in Vitamin C among other nutrients. Vitamin C functions a neuromodulator which affects the production of mood-enhancing effects in the individual. So, the next time you have your meal, don’t forget the food pyramid! It is still a vital part of our health, mentally and physically.
