Just four years ago, on that fateful day in May, we came out, to voice our objection against the imposition of a regressive tax regime, in the face of extravagant spending and a mammoth financial scandal. Four years later, the people came out again through the ballot box, and ensured we realise a zero rated regime. Keen on being the rakyat’s lady, we have nothing but love for Nurul Izzah! Being 38, she is quite young for the field. However, her political involvement had begun from way back in 1999, summing a resounding total of 19 years of experience in the political avenue. That is, quite literally, half of her life dedicated to the people’s rights.
