The model, actor and photographer from the UAE was rumoured to have been denied entry into Saudi Arabia for being “too handsome” and that he might set Saudi’s women’s hearts afire dishes out exclusively to Marie Claire Malaysia about being too hot too handle.
What’s on your plate at the moment?
I am truly blessed and life is really good for me right now. I’ve been busy working on multiple projects with my main focus going into the development of my new brand BORKAN. The primary objective of the brand will be to offer high quality scarves and a I will also have a beauty division. It’s all really exciting for me and I can’t wait to share it with the world very soon.
Do you think fame has changed the way you’re perceived, and has it changed the way you perceive yourself? I cannot control other people’s perception of me, so I focus my attention to myself. I continually try to stay grounded and be true to who I am and not let any amount of money or fame change me.
We’re pretty sure you know you have an army of adoring fans out there. What do you think is your effect on woman? Ever since I was young I have always had an alluring effect on women. Some would call it flirtatious I just call it being friendly. I have always had good relationships with the opposite sex and I thank my mother for it. She taught me that great listening skills really help me in the woman’s department.
How do you feel about all the attention you’re getting, have you ever felt overwhelmed by it? The attention I’m getting from my fans is truly great! I never feel overwhelmed by it but rather I have embraced it and want to use it to serve a greater purpose. My only fear is not living up to the expectations of my supporters and people who look up to me as a role model. I want them to know that I will always try my best and leave the rest to God.
Do you think that being too good looking could be considered a crime and why? No of course not, but then again I am kind of bias don’t you think?
We heard you were given a Mercedes G55 by an unknown woman for your birthday. What do you think about this audacious yet flattering display of affections by your fans? Of course it was a complete surprise to me. I guess for some people giving away a G55 is as easy as giving someone a birthday card, this is a lesson I learned from living in Dubai.
What’s your ideal woman like? She would have to be smart, sexy with curves and love children as much as I do. An avid animal lover with a good sense of humour are also high on my list. But more importantly I am looking for a woman who I can learn from and grow old with as we experience life together as best friends.
What is your best quality? This is a hard question for me to answer because there are so many! (haha just kidding) I think my best quality is my ability to learn. There is knowledge in everything you experience in life, both good and bad, it’s what you learn and how you grow that matters the most.
What plans do you have for the future? I am really excited for another world tour starting next month in Mexico. It’s called the “Follow You Back Tour” and the first of its kind! I want to follow back my fans in person and visit all the countries and cities that I have the most followers in. It’s my way of saying thank you to them for connecting with me through social media. Oh and guess what Malaysia? You are on my list! Stay tuned and I will be sure to announce the dates when my management makes them available.
