Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their son, Prince George and their family and 21 invited guests – including 5 of Princess Charlotte’s appointed godparents – attended Princess Charlotte’s christening at the Church of England, Canterbury on the 5th of July, 2015. After the ceremony, the happy family had their pictures taken together by Mario Testino – a photographer known for taking fashion shots of Kate Moss.
Testino captured the happy royals with their children, emphasising their positive energy. “What impressed me the most was the energy of the family, and of that between the Duke and Duchess,” Testino continued. “One sees how solid they are together and one gets a sense of their strong family values.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in their fourth year of marriage and Testino sees how strong their bond are with each other and the love they share as a family. After the family portrait, Testino captures a group picture of the royals with Duchess Kate’s family.
“It was incredible to be able to document four generations of the British Royal Family together—the monarch and three heirs to the throne—and very heartwarming to see the close relationship between them all,” Testino said.
“I am overwhelmed and honoured to be chosen to document this occasion and to carry on the documentation of the family that is the soul of this country, a country that has given me so much.”
